RURAL AND COMMERCIAL

Protecting Farms, Depots and Business Parks in the East of England

The East of England covers a wide area, from the arable farmland of Norfolk and the Fens to busy commuter towns in Hertfordshire and Essex. Much of the region is rural, so premises are often spread out, poorly lit and some distance from help. Farm machinery, fuel, tools and metal are regular targets.

Pride K9 is based in Walsall and covers the region through our nationwide service. For isolated premises we often recommend farm security that pairs solar-powered cameras with patrols, while open energy sites may need dedicated solar farm and battery storage security.

  • Solar-powered wireless cameras for sites with no mains power
  • Patrols planned around spread-out rural premises
  • Dog handlers for depots and open land
  • Support for landowners facing unauthorised encampments

AREAS COVERED

Areas We Cover Across the East of England

Luton in Bedfordshire sits on the M1 and is home to London Luton Airport, with industrial estates and logistics units nearby. Car parks, vehicle storage and warehouses around the town tend to suit static guards, patrols and CCTV.

Ipswich is Suffolk's county town, on the A14 close to the Port of Felixstowe. The A14 carries heavy freight traffic, and yards, depots and trailer parks along it can benefit from dog handlers and monitored cameras.

Norwich is the main city in Norfolk, linked to the rest of the region by the A11 and A47. Around it we support farms, rural estates, retail units and development sites, and the nearby Broads have boatyards and holiday premises that can stand empty through the winter.

We also cover Cambridge, Peterborough, Chelmsford, Colchester, Bedford, King's Lynn and Southend-on-Sea.

FAQs

East of England Security FAQs

Can you secure a farm with no mains power?

Yes. Our wireless security cameras run on solar power and connect over 4G, so they can be placed on field boundaries, yards and gateways without a power supply. Footage can be watched through Pride Remote Monitoring, and we can add mobile patrols or a dog handler if the site also needs a physical presence.

Do you cover Luton, Ipswich and Norwich?

Yes. These towns and cities are covered as part of our nationwide service, along with the rest of Bedfordshire, Suffolk and Norfolk. Our head office is in Walsall, so cover for the East of England is arranged centrally, and every officer or handler is briefed on your site before they start.

Can you help with unauthorised encampments?

We provide unauthorised encampment prevention and eviction support for landowners and businesses. That can include surveillance and a security presence to help stop land being occupied, and support during a lawful removal. Call us to talk through your situation and the options open to you.

Which types of site do you protect in the region?

We work across construction, vacant property, farms, solar and battery storage schemes, warehouses and vehicle compounds. Spread-out rural sites are common in the East of England, so we often combine remote-monitored cameras with patrols. That gives regular oversight without needing a guard on site around the clock.
