A rapid deployment CCTV tower is a self-contained camera system on a mast that can stand up to 6 metres tall. It needs no mains power, no trenching and no on-site internet, so it can go almost anywhere and start protecting your site straight away. In most cases we can deliver and commission a tower within 24 to 48 hours of an order being confirmed.
Each tower combines HD cameras, night vision, AI intruder detection and loudspeakers for live audio warnings. When someone enters the site, the activation is verified and they can be challenged there and then. If the threat continues, we can send SIA-licensed mobile patrols or NASDU-approved dog handler units and contact the police, with footage kept as evidence.

Rapid deployment security pods and alarm PIDs
A security pod, also known as an alarm PID (portable intruder detection), is a compact, battery-powered alarm unit fitted with motion detectors and cameras. When someone crosses its detection zone, the pod sounds a siren, flashes a beacon and sends photo-verified images for our team to check.
Pods need no power, cabling or groundworks, so they can typically be live on your site within 24 hours and repositioned in minutes. Our Sentinel Pod provides a 30 metre, 360° smart security perimeter and can take fire, flood and access-control add-ons. Pods work indoors as well as outside, which makes them popular for vacant and void properties, warehouses and part-built structures.

Choosing between towers, pods or both
Choose a CCTV tower when you want strong visual deterrence and live monitored video across a wide open area such as a construction site, solar farm or vacant plot. Choose a security pod when you need flexible detection at several points, such as inside buildings, across scaffolding levels or around compounds, or where a tower would be more than the site needs.
Many sites combine the two for layered protection: a tower watching the whole site, with pods guarding high-value areas such as fuel stores, plant compounds and building interiors. Is there a minimum hire period?
We keep hire terms flexible. Short hires for events or temporary works are welcome, and longer project or annual hires are also available. You can extend, add towers or off-hire early as your project changes, and we can move units around the site as work progresses.
What is the difference between a CCTV tower and a security pod?
A tower provides live monitored video over a wide area from a tall mast and is a strong visual deterrent. A pod is a compact, detection-first unit that triggers photo-verified alarms when its zone is crossed. Towers suit open areas; pods suit flexible, multi-point detection, including indoors. Many sites use both.
What happens if a tower is tampered with?
Our towers are built to be robust and are tamper-alarmed. Any interference sends an immediate alert to the monitoring team, who treat it as a live intrusion and escalate it in line with your response plan, which can include sending a patrol or dog unit and contacting the police.
Can I hire more than one tower?
Yes. Larger sites often use several towers to give overlapping coverage, sometimes combined with pods for high-value areas. We can scale your hire up or down as the project develops, and relocate units if your site entrance or compound moves.
