CERTIFICATED AND AUDITED
Our Accreditations and Standards
What each of our certifications and memberships means, in plain English, and why it matters when you choose a security provider.
WHY IT MATTERS
Independent Proof of How We Work
Anyone can say they provide a professional service. Accreditations show that an independent body has checked. Pride K9 Security Services Ltd is certificated and audited, and we are fully accredited in all the roles we carry out.
Below is each accreditation we hold, what it covers and what it means for you as a client. If your procurement team needs copies of certificates or other documents, contact us and we will send them over.
OUR CREDENTIALS
Security Accreditations Explained
ISO 9001: Quality Management
An international standard for managing quality. It means we have documented processes for delivering our services, checking they work and improving them, so you get a consistent service.
ISO 14001: Environmental Management
Shows we manage the environmental impact of our operations, such as vehicle use and waste, in a structured way. Useful if your own supply chain has environmental requirements.
ISO 45001: Health and Safety
The international standard for occupational health and safety. It shows we identify and control risks to our officers and handlers, which matters on hazardous sites such as construction, quarries and industrial yards.
Forefront Certification and UKAS
Our ISO certificates are issued through Forefront Certification, a UKAS-accredited certification body. UKAS is the UK's national accreditation body, so the audits behind our certificates are themselves independently overseen.
COP 119
We hold COP 119 certification through Forefront Certification. Ask us for a copy of the certificate if you need to confirm its scope for your tender or supplier checks.
NASDU Associate Company Member
NASDU is the National Association of Security Dog Users. Our dogs and handlers are NASDU approved, meaning the handler keeps complete control of the dog, and we are an Associate Company Member.

FAQs
Accreditation FAQs
What does NASDU approved mean?
NASDU stands for the National Association of Security Dog Users. When we say our dogs and handlers are NASDU approved, it means they meet the association's standards, with the handler in complete control of the dog. Pride K9 is also an Associate Company Member of NASDU, which reflects our commitment to responsible security dog use.
Why does an SIA licence matter?
The Security Industry Authority is the body that regulates the private security industry in the UK. Many security roles legally require an SIA licence, and getting one involves approved training and background checks. Using SIA-licensed officers means the people protecting your site have met those requirements.
Who issued your ISO certificates?
Our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates are issued through Forefront Certification, which is accredited by UKAS, the UK's national accreditation body. That means the certification body itself is independently assessed, which gives extra confidence in the audits behind our certificates.
Can I see your insurance and certificates before we sign?
Yes. Insurance details are available on request, and we can also send copies of our certificates to support your supplier or tender checks. Email info@pridek9.co.uk or call 0344 800 7066 and tell us which documents you need.
How do you handle data from CCTV and site reports?
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and hold Cyber Essentials certification. Personal data, including camera footage and contact details, is handled in line with UK data protection law and kept secure. Our privacy policy explains how we collect, store and use personal information.
